Dear Fellows,
Welcome to our latest newsletter. This update shares what has been happening across the UK fellowship, including finances, service roles, events, and news from the wider DA community. Thank you to all who give service at group, intergroup, and world level—your time and experience help sustain our shared recovery.
Intergroup Meeting – Overview
The UK Intergroup met on 25th October 2025. We opened with the Serenity Prayer and our Statement of Purpose, followed by personal check-ins. Previous minutes were approved.
A key discussion was held on whether to continue funding Zoom accounts to support DA groups. Following a vote, the decision was made to keep the Intergroup-funded Zoom accounts for another 12 months – until 6 December 2026.

Website & Mailing List
Our mailing list has continued to grow and now has 161 subscribers. If you know members who would benefit from updates, please invite them to sign up via the website.
A significant spike in website traffic occurred in August. We are exploring what may have caused this and welcome input from anyone who noticed increased outreach or media activity around that time.
London Convention Update
The London Convention took place on 4 October 2025.
112 fellowship members attended, and the event was financially self-supporting, raising £1,091.
A venue has been booked again for 24 October 2026.
Some concerns were raised in Intergroup around aspects of the 2025 event, and discussions are ongoing about the best way for Intergroup to support or participate in future conventions. No decisions were made at this time.
The agreed seed funding of £770 is expected to be returned to Intergroup shortly.
Outreach & Helpline
The helpline continues to offer a welcoming point of contact.
Since the last report:
- 28 email enquiries were received
- 8 voicemail messages came through
Several of these newcomers have since attended meetings. A gentle reminder to groups: please ensure your meeting contact details online are current.
Literature
Literature orders have increased. Thank you to the fellows helping to process and post materials.
£229.98 from convention literature sales will be transferred to the Intergroup account.
If you are willing to help with literature service, support is welcome.
