Achievements in 2013

* DA Intergroup met 6 times in 2013 and had all service positions filled or covered throughout the year.
* DA now has ‘Promises’ written specifically for the fellowship
* Events:
* DA Day / Convention – The Convention was well attended and deemed a success. For the first time, individual groups took on specific areas of organization. This seemed to have a very positive effect , especially as groups from many areas of the UK participated.
* One Member One Action – April 2013. A day where every member of DA was encouraged to take one public information action.
* Bristol workshop on reconciling figures and Visions – this is the second year for this workshop. Attendance included those from outside the UK
* London workshop on Visions – attended by 60 DA members who visualised and had time to set their visions.
* PRG Day – This was held in London with 30 members attending
* Gratitute Month – For the month of October groups sent around a second pot which was to remind us of our gratitude for the recovery we have. These amounts were donated to DA Intergroup.
* World Service : DA UK sent a representative to Phoenix, to attend DA World Service Conference. Victoria completed her 4 years as ISR and Josie took over. Amongst the many benefits of having a consistent prescence at World Service, it seems that there is finally recognition that paying for literature needs to be less complicated!
* Website: This is continually being updated and reviewed. There has been a focus this year on how to make the website most accessible and user friendly for the newcomer and loners.
* Regional Officer: The post of Regional Officer was introduced and an initial survey of how Intergroup may be run by groups throughout the Uk was started.
* European Convention: Links are being made with other DA fellows with the aim of holding a convention.
* Public Information: An extensive report was presented which highlighted the need to focus on the newcomer and loner. The website was updated as a result. Each DA group is encouraged to have a PI officer and for them to join the PI committee. Shares at the convention were recorded and are being prepared for download from the website.

Achievements in 2012

* DA Intergroup met 6 times in 2012 and had all service positions filled or covered throughout the year. Reviewing the minutes, the consistency and follow up work of those in service positions and those GSR’s attending stands out this year.
* Events:
* DA Day / Convention – ‘From Fear to Abundance’. Talks on using the ‘tools’ and ‘visions’ in DA recovery. There was also a general discussion to get feedback on whether DA in the UK would want to develop a European Board.
* One Member One Action – April 2012. A day where every member of DA was encouraged to take one public information action.
* Bristol workshop on record keeping and Visions – the combination of the practical and the possible made this a very successful and inspiring workshop
* London workshop on Visions – attended by 60 DA members who visualised and had time to set their visions.
* PRG Day – This was held in London. There is a great need for PRG’s and Intergroup is reviewing how to run future PRG days and the possibility of skype PRG meetings.
* Gratitute Month – For the month of October groups sent around a second pot which was to remind us of our gratitude for the recovery we have. These amounts were donated to DA Intergroup.
